Afu-Ra swój debiut zaliczył na klasycznym albumie Jeru The Damaja z 1994 roku – “The Sun Rises in the East”. Jego pierwszy singiel “Whirlwind Thru Cities” wydany w 1996 od razu wylądował w najlepszych 20 utworach rankingu Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles.
Afu-Ra od początku jest członkiem składu Gang Starr Foundation, do którego należą również takie osobistości jak Dj Premier, Bahamadia, Group Home, Jeru The Damaja czy Guru (RIP).
Podczas swojej długoletniej kariery współpracował z Wu Tang Clanem, M.O.P, Boot Camp Click i Royce da 5’9″.
Na tegorocznym otwarciu Boogaloo Beach Bar Afu-Ra zaprezentuje zarówno swoje najbardziej klasyczne kawałki jak i materiał z nowego mixtape’u.

Afu-Ra’s first appearance was on Jeru’s classic 1994 album The Sun Rises in the East.
His debut single, „Whirlwind Thru Cities”, was released in 1998, reaching the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart.
Afu-Ra is a member of the Gang Starr Foundation, alongside rappers like Jeru the Damaja, DJ Premier, Bahamadia, Group Home or Guru (RIP).
During his long and fruitful career he collaborated with such esteemed acts as Wu Tang Clan, M.O.P, Boot Camp Click and Royce da 5’9″.
